Dalton Ag 2025 Year-End Recap
Built for the Realities of Today’s Farm Economy
As we wrap up the year, we want to take a moment to reflect on where Dalton Ag has been, what we’ve improved, and, most importantly, why those improvements matter. This year wasn’t about chasing trends or adding complexity. It was about building smarter, tougher equipment that helps farmers stay productive in a challenging farm economy.
With tighter margins, higher operating costs, and fewer workable days in the field, dependable equipment matters more than ever. Every improvement we made this year was guided by one simple goal: reduce downtime and help operators make the most of every application window.
What’s New at Dalton Ag
Sonic Coulter for NH₃ Toolbars
This year we introduced the Sonic Coulter option for our NH₃ toolbars, designed to create a clean, consistent knife path in real-world field conditions. The Sonic Coulter features a razor-edge design that aggressively cuts through tough soils, heavy residue, and field trash, helping maintain proper soil engagement ahead of the knife.
A major advantage of the Sonic Coulter is its maintenance-free sealed hub. This greaseless design reduces daily maintenance time, allowing operators to spend less time greasing and more time applying. The sealed hub also helps prevent field trash buildup, so the coulter keeps turning and doing its job throughout the day.
This is especially valuable in spring conditions where leftover net wrap from hay feeding, or heavy residue can quickly create issues with traditional designs. With fewer stops to clean debris and less time out of the tractor, operators can stay focused on covering acres efficiently.
The Sonic Coulter is a Dalton Ag exclusive. Designed by us and manufactured here in Southwest Iowa. It’s a practical solution built to perform when conditions are less than ideal.

Row Cleaners & Rolling Baskets for Strip-Till Bars
We have expanded our strip-till offerings this year with the addition of row cleaners and rolling baskets for our 12- and 16-row bars. These components can be ordered factory-installed on new bars or purchased individually as parts, giving operators flexibility to set up or upgrade their equipment as needed.
Row cleaners help move residue out of the row, creating a cleaner strip and more consistent soil conditions ahead of planting. Rolling baskets follow behind to help break clods, level the strip, and leave a more uniform finish. Together, they improve seedbed consistency and help promote more even emergence.

Stealth Liquid Applicators – Rebranded & Expanded
Our Stealth Liquid Applicator lineup was refreshed and expanded this year with the addition of adding cone bottom tanks and new sizes to better fit a wider range of operations. While the lineup evolved, the core values stayed the same: proven performance, straightforward design, and dependable results.
We now offer:
Stealth -1,000 gallon cone bottom tank

Stealth Pro-1,300 or 1,750 gallon cone bottom tank

Stealth Elite– 1,610 or 2,010 gallon drainable tank

The updated Stealth lineup makes it easier for customers to choose the right applicator without sacrificing durability or functionality. Whether scaling up or fine-tuning an existing operation, the Stealth series continues to deliver consistent performance with minimal complexity.
Goose Neck Running Gear Improvements
We also continued making improvements to our goose neck running gears, focusing on strength where it matters most and safety where it counts every day. These updates are designed to handle real-world loads while making it easier and safer for operators to access key areas of the unit.
New grab handles, lowered steps, and a wider platform provide more secure footing and safer mounting. These features allow operators to move around the unit and reach important service and connection points with greater confidence. Both in the shop and in the field. Large front fenders were also added to improve protection and durability during transport and operation.
Heavy construction, stability, and long-term durability remain priorities. Built for the long haul, these running gears deliver confidence on the road and in the field while standing up to years of demanding use.

Designed to Reduce Downtime
Downtime is more than an inconvenience, it’s lost acres and lost opportunity. That’s why Dalton Ag equipment is built with a strong focus on reducing daily maintenance and keeping operators in the field.
Fewer grease points mean less time spent on daily service and more time applying when conditions are right. When mornings matter and windows are short, getting hooked up and rolling sooner can be the difference between covering a few more acres or missing the opportunity altogether. Easy access to key service areas also means routine checks and repairs can be handled quickly and efficiently.
Dalton Ag equipment is built for commercial use. Designed to run long hours, day after day, during the most time-crunched parts of the season. Just as important, support is never far away. Our experienced sales team and service department are readily available to help troubleshoot issues and keep customers on track when timing matters most.
As a privately owned company, it’s easier to get answers and talk to someone who knows the equipment, not a call center. Combined with a strong network of knowledgeable dealers ready to support customers in the field, Dalton Ag is committed to keeping downtime to a minimum when it matters most.
Built with Purpose
At Dalton Ag, we build equipment with one priority: making it work better in the field. That means focusing on durability, serviceability, and real-world performance. Not shortcuts or unnecessary complexity.
Our equipment is designed and built in-house, allowing us to control quality and respond quickly to customer feedback. When something can be built stronger, simpler, or easier to maintain, we make the change.
The result is equipment that lasts longer, requires less attention, and earns its place on the farm year after year.
Looking Ahead
We’re proud of the improvements made this year and grateful for the customers and dealers who continue to trust Dalton Ag. As we look ahead, our focus remains the same. Listening, refining, and building equipment that helps farmers stay efficient, productive, and ready when conditions are right.
